The women behind every jar

Asana Shea is named after Asana, my mother — the woman who taught me that care doesn't need embellishment to be real. She's no longer with us, but her name is on every label, and the values she raised me with are in every batch we make.

Today, that same spirit continues through the women's cooperative in Ghana who hand-harvest and process every jar we sell, using techniques passed down through generations — including Memuna, Damata, Fatima, Wakila, and Forzia.

Every order supports their work directly: fair pay for skilled, traditional craft that rarely gets the recognition, or the pricing, it deserves.
